1. Introduction

Box Compression Tester is a direct test instrument for testing the compressive strength* of cartons or other packaging containers. It is used to determine the compressive strength of cartons and can be used for pressure-holding and stacking tests. The test results can be used as an important factor in the height of the factory stacked finished packaging boxes. Reference or an important basis for designing packaging boxes. It is suitable for pressure resistance, deformation and stacking tests of corrugated boxes, honeycomb board boxes and other packaging parts. It also takes into account the compression test of plastic barrels (edible oil, mineral water), paper barrels, cartons, paper cans, and container barrels (IBC barrels).

3. Test Principle 

Place the package on the lower pressure plate ofBox Compression Tester, and then lower the upper pressure plate to apply pressure to the package. The applied pressure, atmospheric conditions, duration, pressure-bearing conditions and the placement state of the package shall be carried out according to the predetermined plan.
